Sound proofing

Hi ppl.
Wondering what ppl have used for insulation on there floor areas.

There seems to be a few options such as spray on, Resomat, Rattle trap etc....

Just wondering who has used what and any feed back pls.

I think im going to do the floor front and rear, rear roof and walls and the doors.

My Hiace is fitted with the Dynamat in the front. My mate did it when he fitted the V6 and it seems to do a pretty good job of keeping road and engine noise out of the cabin. The rear just has a rubber mat on the floor but on the whole it's not bad noise wise for a 20 year old Hiace. I'm guessing it's probably a bit easier to remove than a spray-on should the need ever arise.

Gaddy I used 12mm felt underlay under the floor carpet
the rear and front roof between the roof Bowes I put the same 12 mm underlay positioned with splay contact
.in the sides cavities I sprayed sound deadening
And carpet on the rear floor

When i had the interior done in the Torana i had the upholsterer put Dynamat down then he put the underfelt on top then the carpet, don't know how quiet it is yet still putting the car back together.
