Need some help identify a auto trans I have. See the picture attached.

That would be a (M40) V8 Tri-Matic typically found behind 253 Holden Engines.

Get the code off the ID plate and I should be able to tell you exactly what it came from. By the selector on it it will be HQ-HZ, LH-LX or possibly column shift WB.
