I recon they were fantastic with the murals and decked out backs!

    i feel a resurgence coming

I saw an old fella (50y.o!) at the stereo shop the other day paying big $$ to have the back of his fake HJ sandman van (he thought it was real so i didnt burst his bubble) decked out with led's, esky, fridge, ace of spades black crushed velour cut out between cab and canopy etc etc

There is still heaps of custom vans around, even some original survivors from vannings heyday.

There was over 100 vans that attended the Van Nationals this year that was held at Caboolture this Easter.

If you want to check out some custom vans check out the Majestic Vanners forum:

    www.majesticvanners.com

Sign up, (its free) and check out a heap of vans in the build and also a detailed register of old and current show vans.

Another Majestic - Simon Majors 'Disturbia' Custom Valiant Van. Simon is also a Street Machine contributer, he wrote the SM article on this year's Van Nationals that featured the issue before last.
