See if you can follow this:

First you have already got some images uploaded to your www.photobucket.com account.

Find your photo you wish to add to the forum and click on it. It will open large and have "link" available on the right like this:



Once you click on the "Direct URL" box it should go yellow indicating it has been copied to your clipboard.



Now go back to the mysandman.com.au forum and follow these instructions:



1: 1st step make the cursor blink in the reply box.
2: Click on the "Image Icon" on the menu bar.
3: Paste (Ctrl+V) your "Direct URL" from photobucket.com into the URL box.
4: Click "Go Advance" button to "prove" what you are about to post on the forum is what you intended (including your photo's) etc.



If it's all good in the "Preview" then submit your post.

Not sure if your link is the complete web address for the photo you've chosen.

Are you using the [IMG] tags around it or are you using the "Insert image" option in the reply to post box?

Innuendo has provided a pretty good "how to" above (thank you for that!)

The photo URL is typically long like this:

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...pscfbb4388.jpg (Although the forum auto truncates/shortens the view of it)

Once it get the image tags at either end like [img] and it's closing tag which is the same but with a "/" before the img (All this is added automatically via the forum image insert)

Here is the same url as above with the [img] tags added and you will now see it shows the image on the forum.



I can only guess you are getting that short URL from your phone? As I have stated before you should use the "Direct URL" code.

Well I posted the whole site ! Ffs! My cars are in there if you go to menu and click on ray rentons album ! This is nuts

Hmm, I just posted this photo with my Android phone from Photobucket.
It was painful. Basically you must go to the bottom of each page and select "full website"
The "Copy" in Yellow worked fine with Firefox browser but failed with my preferred browser "Opera"

Phone's are for talking on! Computers are for playing on forums.
