Another correct date code block. This one is 3L8, so suit late 1978 or early 1979 HZ. At least it looks like 3L8, might be 3L6 as 3L8 makes no sense as it would be 3/11/1988 which would make it a VN block but it has long head bolt bosses so can't be. VT879471 is an impossible number too as the last VT prefix would be high 500,000's. 3L6 makes no sense either as it'd be trimatic pattern. Might be a VB Commodore auto block, and seller has read the engine number with an extra digit.
