I've had this one recorded for some time now as a possible Sandman, I didn't have the TRIM line or the PSN, so another one completed in the database. Shame the body isn't still around to confirm if it was a Sandman or not.

There is a thread on here with another van that has autumn gold on the tags why do the they have no engine or Axel code is this common on HQ

see the 80270 on the model line? that is V8 van. 80170 is 6 cyl van
the eng and trans are left blank if its the lowest level.
so this van would have been 253 ..

I can't see a mistake, or do you mean the flogged out 8 (the 8 stamp was buggered in the Pagewood BODY plant plate typewriter by the end of HQ).

It is the second HQ Sandman van, plus I have a 6cyl 3 seat Belmont ute. They are all Pagewood build.

They'll get caught out as a 3/74 HQ Pagewood van shell is unique to those tags, they'll never get the firewall number right and Pagewood van shells of the right type are rarer that you can imagine.
