Yeah just like VAN RAT. I don't mind a set of bubble windows in a custom Van, but not in a factory Sandman trying to be factory original.

I know that I miss my old van sometimes because of the lack of windows in the new one. Mainly when it comes to lane changes and reversing out of a nose in park. I actually kept the bubbles and very nearly fitted them but quickly gave myself an uppercut.

That yellow van is my HX Sandman two owners before I got it. A pity it didn't look like that when I got it, it looks far worse now.

no such thing as 'factory' windows. no such tooling existed to press a 'factory' upper quarter side panel with windows.
windows in a van have only ever been an afterthought. and an ugly one at that
    a van with windows isn't.
    that's my opinion anyway...

Sorry champ but you are incorrect, vans came from the factory with side windows fitted. Most government fleet vans were supplied with windows.

The windows were not pressed out, they were hand cut out prior to paint colour being applied.

No A9X had factory pressed wheel arches either. They hacked them up. They would have just hacked a hole in the vans ordered with windows too no doubt, just the same as aftermarket ones were fitted. No need to press special panels.

A van doesn't exist in my opinion. They are just a ute with an afterthought spot welded on top......

Quite a nice afterthought tho, something to put a sunroof in and a big rear wing on.
