Guys I would like to know is there any deterant when restoring my sandman back to stock because currently it has the twin light statesmen front. Do people prefer this or do u like the single light set up? Cheers

But the twin headlight fronts are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ugly

In my opinion, unless the car came from the factory with the twin headlight front as the HZ did, putting the Statesman front on a ute or van just signifies that the owner is a wannabe poser. Unfortunately the oportunity for this is doubled with the HQ where the Premier front is different from the Statesman front.

HQ single front ..anything else after HQ with single front was boring.if you want to sell it then original is best. My HJ sandman will never see a single headlight front or GTS wheels as long as i own it .Restoring is boring .....bring back the customs

HJ "Sandman's" look wrong with twin/quad light front ends. You can get away with it on a HX because it can easily be confused with the HZ (same stripes etc).
If it is a genuine HJ Sandman you should stay with a single 7" headlight front. If HX, I don't think it will effect the price that much if at all.

I agree, but don't ruin genuine Sandman's. Sell it, by a poverty pack Van and customise it to hell.
You most likely can pull all the Sandman money out of it and play with a desirable non boring custom with the coin.
