I'd go the twin front. Quad fronts don't look right with a HX GTS grille which is what you'd probably have on a HX Sandman.
I like the twin headlights. Lots of owners put HJ/HX GTS guards on HZ's just because they look good so what's difference?
i think if you want twin headlight front go for it, when your painting it spend $150 and go and get a good single front apron and paint it too and hang it in the shed with a few painted 1/2 inch bolts so if you want to change it back u can. a good single rad support will probably set u back $250, but that can wait.....
also the colour on your van will influence the look of it too. a white / red / blue one won't affect it too much, but if its a twin headlight front on a trademark HX colour like Aquarius or Papaya it will stand out more..imho
R u painting your mirrors???? next debate....

I have always called them quad and twin as that is what they are! Whether the terminology is right or not???? I don't know exactly what GMH called them. I know Leo Pruneau called them a 4 headlight front when I talked to him, he always wanted it on GTS right from the start and didn't get it until HZ. HK sales brochure has for Premier under lighting the words "(two each side)", and i've seen magazine articles call it "quad headlinght nose panel" or something like that.
Go with with the Twin Headlight front, they look very nice. Also do what Adam said and grab a single front apron, it's well worth it.

Yes the van is aquarios. And yeah ill deff be painting the mirrors black also the window boarder and bottom part surrounding the car
I think it is a term that has crept in usage, like all sailboards getting called Windsurfers, and all vans getting called Sandmans and stuff like that. I've heard both used over the years, but i'll stick with Quad headlight nose and Twin headlight nose in the book as to me they are appear to be accurate in visual terms anyway.
