Kept licensed and will not expire works in WA because there're is no ongoing road worth inspections ever. Pay the rego and keep driving. Many people in the west drive cars well beond there best before date.

Sound's as though the Rego system in WA is the same as here in QLD, no annual Rego check's. However here, if you are stopped for any reason by the police, they just do a walk around the vehicle, and have a good look, including your rego label, while they have you there.

While it is a good system for those who do the right thing.
Cars need annual safety checks and surely the state governments are missing out on major revenue?

I'd hate to think some rust bucket with dodgy brakes was on the road and took out a family member or mate etc.
