Colorful history

There is a ad on Gumtree to sell a 75 Sandman van for 12k. It is colorful, green, I think every body likes green, but the interesting thing is it is described as being part of a Melbourne crime scene. Does anyone know anything about this?

I would require more proof that it is a Sandman, a picture of an "HJ" with wrong front, wrong stripes, and no pics of inside or tags isn't about to get me ready to put up $12,000.00

This is what the owner said. It has had patchy past. Stolen and recovered 2 times, written off and rebuilt with a different chassis and other changes. No numbers match and when he registered it was told by the Victorin Police that the van had been linked to previous crimes in Melborune.How many dark secretes could this van tell.Yes he has had a lot of calls.
