    Australian Motoring Enthusiasts Party

    Haven't seen this mentioned on here, so I thought I'd post it up.

    Recently formed to give enthusiasts a voice, and currently working on policies and where preferences will go.

    Don't do Facebook (not a member). Have they got a proper website?

    As far as I know (and according to google) no they don't have a website yet. It only got started a few weeks ago.

    They might get taken a bit more seriously with a real website.

    They don't have a website nor do they have a list of their aims and values. They do have a form to join up and pay your $20. It sounds like a very good ideabut to be a viable voice for the motoring enthusiast they need to put up a mission statement and outline their policies and beliefs.

    I agree about the website. I hit them up after Innuendo asked about it and it's underway.

    And in my opinion they need to get something out to the public asap regarding their goals/preferences/policies etc. If they drag their feet too long it's gonna work against them.

    Regarding preferences, this is a from a Facebook post:

    Preferences are an important part of the political strategy. We have no agenda and decisions regarding preferences will be made in the best interests of the motoring enthusiast community at the appropriate time. Remember if you choose - you get complete control over where your preferences go, by voting below the line.
    Sort of vague, but make of it what you will...
