Shows you that 11/73 Pagewood bodies had body colour firewall.

Its a great looking old girl. I wouldnt molest that one at all. Some nice white walls, little bit of lowering and a few interior touch ups, would make for a very cool cruiser

Interesting to see what she'll go for

I agree, except i'd be fixing the tailgate, rear window and front bar (squashed). Leave the wheels how they are, not touch the suspension.

The only mod i'd make is to remove the 6cyl and fit an injected 5.0L using a red trimatic pattern block and a RH shift V8 trimatic. There would be no body mods at all with this conversion except for a low down hole in the firewall for the ECU harness and a mod to put a throttle cable through. The battery tray has to move to the other side but the inner guards look like they are pretty crappy anyway so just a few more holes!

Nope, disagree. Leave the old 6 banger in there. Clean her up and cruise. No V8 'mod' on this one

Bloody Heathen! Good thing you don't want to paint it green as well!

Had another look at the potos, I think the tailgate is straight but the reflections of the shed behind the car make it look damaged.

I'm not a fan of the sixes, but this one time, when all the numbers match, it should stay as she is. Too often the sixes are throw away for an eight anyways.

Na, V8 all the way. 6cyl and original trimatic can stay on pallet in the shed. If you own it you have to be able to drive it, and an old HQ 202 auto feels like a Janome!
