I do have some close ups and will post them up soon. Will be needing a new left side door, gts guards, upper tailgate.

Other panels I will get repro of beaver panel and right side floor pan.

When will the sides be stripped by hand? It'll be interesting to see the window sides. Apart from them it sounds as though its going to be relatively straight forward if there are no glaringly nasty bits at this stage. Good luck with the tailgate, ill let you know when i find you one. lol

Blocker, get a litre of black sprayed onto the van, especially down the beauty lines and take it home and hand rub it down yourself....

Looking good Blocker, my van should be at that stage in about 2 months just had windows filled in before xmas and off to sandblaster next so hopefully I shouldnt be too far behind you although I havent decided what motor going in my but have sourced other bips and bops etc

Thanks guys - it is a relief to see what was under the paint, although there is plenty to chemical and rub back.
The obvious nastiness stands outs - new floor, new beaver panel and the drivers side plenum has been eaten out a little.

The van may have reversed of a bollard or a dead body there is a bit of crumpling underneath.
Also the beauty lines need to be straightened, a lot of dings.

I'll be selling these because although rust free now, it has had some weld repairs and one of the panels was 'repaired' by Stevie Wonder.

So here is where I am up to (after one solid year of nothing!)

The motor sitting in my garage which is asking me to complete it, but being that I have never done this before, I don't know what to do next.

I'll need to get the right bolts for the alt mount, that could be a start any other advice from the experts would be helpful.
