just a thought, depending on what plumbing you're planning on fitting
might want to tap those two short pipes coming out of the top of the water pump so if you dont use them you can fit flush bungs which look neater
Blocker I think ther a thread on water pump somewhere
I found it blocker Its was you tread on new water pumps

Blocker not sure that the oil guage sender unit looks like the vdo one that works for a oil pressure guage for sandman
Thanks that part was supplied by mechanic, where did you get yours and do you have a part number?
Yep looked through the parts book and this one looks wrong.

Thanks ambientgoat I'll do that. Although I do not understand your last sentence.
gaugeworks, port road. They have what you need. Check that the temp one is for a gauge as well.
I think this is the one you are after .I even purchased a new vdo sender and the oil gauge worked backwards so I put the original one in and it worked fine .i think this is the one from the red van

There were two types of temp sender. One that had the gauge and another version that had a warning light that came on once the block boiled dry and the block split in half. You want the sender for the gauge sort, this is easier to get than the oil sender.
