They are, put it also easy to get them cad plated. Did you get the brqcket that goes down to the engine mount and the mount itself?

I have the support arm and now I am looking for the correct engine mount.

If anyone has a V8 engine mount for a/c please let me know.

I might have. When my finger is not bandaged up (can't get it dirty) i'll scrounge around in the Holden V8 section of the shed and see if I have one.

So here is where I am up to (after one solid year of nothing!)

The motor sitting in my garage which is asking me to complete it, but being that I have never done this before, I don't know what to do next.

I'll need to get the right bolts for the alt mount, that could be a start any other advice from the experts would be helpful.

First thing I would be doing is trying to get a uniform look with all the alloys, soda blast or similar...

Next up would be getting all the bolts re-coated.

Not much happening so a bit of a clean out and then got side tracked into fixing and cleaning my rear vision mirror. Oh joy!

Warm soapy water
Degreaser
Metal brush scrub
Sanding off rust
Dremel sand and buff
Josco stainless polish
Paint

I'm getting right into this polishing stuff, I wonder when the enjoyment will wear off?

I decided to read this thread from the beginning,and the first thing I noticed, was a lot of people who used to be very active on this forum, havent been on here for yonks, the other is a few of your pictures have been deleted from your URL perhaps as showing up as a box with a cross in it....can't wait to see pics of this van painted etc.
