cost was $425. one off purchase price, no on going costs ever, $19 to transfer ownership

XX7 253 is still available i think

the good thing about these plates is that the 1970's original plates in WA were black on white and quite often started XX in a 3:3 format

Funny enough, many WB's in W.A have Wongan Hills / Balidau shire plates (WB prefix), as its only $19 to get them. Cheap custom plate!

Have to say i love the Shire Plates in WA , if you see a car with mud all over it , tends to mean they've had rain out that way !!
