WB Statesman, I think!
HQ Glacier White Belmont Ute
Wanted Lanspeed accessories for Holden Grey engines, twin carb manifolds, extractors, rocker cover, 3 speed floor shift.
2.6 replaced 2.78 in 10 bolt for Statesman during HJ. Holden continued with 2.78 for a few years but eventually Holden went to 2.6 also. All tall ratio 10 bolt in Torana and Commodore were 2.6 too.
Thanks for that info,i suppose it would be a good cruising ratio.
Good for a trimatic or TH400 308 or bigger with tow cam.
you could get an optioned hz kingswood 1980 van with 2.6 ratio , i know because i had one and no it was not a sedan diff.
but a factory van or ute one
i guess they used what ever they had during the run out of the hz.
Wouldn't have been a run out, that was the economy option diff on a HZ ute or van with L31 M41 driveline. Standard was 3.08, economy option 2.6, performance option 3.36:1.
