    Grunt's Papaya HX Sandman 18v 308 4 speed Project

I bought this project van off L31Sandman just before Christmas and have been working hard at it ever since.

I have made some good progress so im at a stage where I can share my adventure.

    So the old girl is a 18-08-76 build Papaya colour, 18v interior, 308, 4 speed GV4 (3.36)

I managed to find some pics from where L31 bought it from in Qld which I will post shortly

I live on a hill and the driveway is HORRIBLE so it was an effort. Bit shocked the twin turbo petrol BMW didnt have the nuts to get up all the way. im sure the Maloo would have done it....if I had a tow bar

This drive way will cause me lots of extra work as you will see in later pics

finally got he in the garage

The floor will never look this good again

Not surprised the BMW couldn't do it. Probably exceeding its legal towing limit too! As you'd be doing with the Maloo. No way the Maloo would get it up the driveway either unles it is an auto!

Will be good to see progress photos. Nice colour.

yep Maloo is an auto. When she leaves here next time it will be on the back of a flat bed on the way across to the spray painters. Im hoping to shoot colour June / July, see how I go
