You need to pump out volume to earn a decent living.

I plan to do the same as you with the rear. I will note down "vinyacote" grey as i was going to ask on here what was the paint code for the rear. Also is the rear in 2 pac without clear?

Are you worried about the bats holding moisture?? Leading to rust.
The back is a semi gloss lacquer, will never carry anything so im not worried about it scratching

Im not concerned about rusting, all the seams have new seam sealer, there is rust primer and cavity wax, and heaps if it in there. New lower 1/4 panels so its pretty well water tight. Also the time I spent cleaning the underside....... it will never see rain and she sleeps in an alarmed heated garage

Oh ok, I wasnt thinking so much about water ingress I was more thinking along the lines of condensation. But I suppose if its in a heated garage and will never see rain, it shouldnt be a problem

Heated garage!! Hey Grunt I reckon thats worth a thread on its own!

The heated garage is not as scientific as that. The gargage is under the house where all the central heating ducting is located, a couple of the ducts are a bit dodgy so the esaped heat gets into the gargage.

Certainly makes those cold winter nights a bit nicer.

    Hi Grunt

The rear is the factory colour or as close as you can get now Vinyacote grey
Hi Grunt was wondering if you had the product / paint code that you used to paint the rear.

    Cheers.

We too have a heated garage and heated in the same way as grunts, we also have carpet on the floor under our yellow van. Sadly she is still rusting on the seam at the back. This will be fixed when we get the malachite van up and running. Jennie on rb iPad

I think a warmer shed would cause rust to react faster than a cold shed..at the same humidity..

Im in darwin so i have the opposite problem, im airconditioning my garage so i can bear to be in there this time of year. Im hoping this wont cause to much condensation if i keep it to 24 or 25 degrees.
