would have loved one but didnt have the height, check the pics the roof is about 6" from the light and the chassis just clears the body

Brilliant work Grunt.I feel bad about what a lazy time I spent at Easter. You've done so much in just 4 months, do you have time to go to work?

Thanks for the support. Im a little disappointed, I should be a bit further along, my last build took 9 months to complete but it was only 1/2 a body

fortunately I have a better camera for this build

Here are the pics of the back body support the 2x pieces of angle stop any sideways rock, the screwed on log hex head screws in the joints take any slack out and make the whole stand very rigid

Sorry about the pics, there is not a great deal of space behind her

the extra off cuts of steel in the middle are a jacking point so I can get more height out of the trolly jack.

the rear brackets are old cut down tailgate hinges

You can do the body life easily with 2 people but DO NOT try it with a cheap ass trolly jack. Buy or borrow a good quality one, you car and life depends on it

nice. the Brochure colour Papaya with 18V trim + L31... i have one also same spec.. except 9/76...

from what i have seen, 63V trim seems more common than 18V on Papaya, which makes it all the more rarer..

Well holy shit, you are doing a great job and cant wait to see it finished! i am so glad you bought the car. The "A" pillar and sill turned out to be pretty bad didn't they. Sorry for the spiders!!!. you really are doing a great job. Papaya is the best colour closely followed by Aquarius.

Wow what a mammoth effort. You are lucky to have to ability, time and knowledge to do this all yourself. We can do everything except panel and paint. I too love Papaya...can't wait to see more progress...thanks for sharing. Ps love your Queenslander home.
