Yes L31's panel beater did do the cowel / scuttle rebuild, some gutter work and both lower rear 1/4 bottoms but believe me I was left with my fair share to do as you will see.

I certainly wouldnt say the hard bits are done.

It begins, the most obvious damage was the from drivers side dog leg where it joins the sill

This is how it arrived, after a little digging it was found that someone had repaired the missing metal section with masking tape and a nice layer of bog over it

after a good wire brushing all is revealed

nothing has been chopped out of here it was cleaned with a wire wheel. All the missing metal was covered with masking tape and bog

ive experienced my own fair share of pain around those lower a-pillars. very common

you're right that is no small feat to do properly. newspaper/chook mesh and bog anyone?

This is where the steep driveway got me, time to strip the body down. Most would take it to the blasters and get the body done but I figured with all the stuffing around I would do it by hand. It will also be a lot more gentler to the metal as I dont know what lurks beneith

hand paint stripping, its character building

The more I stripped back the more metal I found, AWESOME.
