    So I after I got her in the garage I sorted through parts and worked out what I had






















    our dog was very interested in the whole project

    I think they are 1600kg for an SS, Maloo will be even lower. I reckon with that trailer and what is on it you'd be over 2000kg!

    After the part were sorted in some sort of order it was time to make notes on what I had and didnt have.

    So the on going buying spree begins

    now the fun begins, time to totally undress her and find out what horrors hide under a coat of orange paint ..... apart from the obvious.

    These pics are how it arrived


















    someone must have told the previous owner that Red Oxide paint will FIX rust








    and here is a remainder of the origional stripes tucked around the door edge. The doors are totally rooted so they were pulled off, stripped and sent to China to make 3x Great Wall utes

    I contacted Holden here in Melbourne. They were very Helpfull and mailed me out a certificate of when built and options

    Was listed on the certificate as a Belmont Panel Van

    Yep, another Holden mistake. No Belmont vans past HQ.

    looks like L31 took a fair swipe at it. the hard hard parts are done

    I have ruminants of a stripe of the same side but mine is b-pillar not door. gonna mask it up as a momento for the respray!
