Correct. If the file size is too large i find it won't upload from computer.

Id suggest the issue people are having with pads etc is to do with cameras these days taking large gb file photos. Ill do a test later and see if i can crack it
Afterall we all lile photos! Who wants to read... ;)

With iPad and iPhone, take your photo from further away and then crop the photo so only the subject is in it. This reduces the file size and will upload easier.

I might be because your images are too large. Best to make a copy of them and resize to upload.
Or if for the forum choose a lower resolution to shoot your photos.

Uploading to some image websites for hosting will resize your photos for forums and web display for you.

    Hey all,

wanted to mention that I use Imgur as an image hosting site, upload from Google Photos by right click on the photo, copying image address, paste it to the Imgur box, or browse your PC if you have them there.

Then click on the photo on Imgur, select BBcode and it will automatically resize for you, then you can paste that code directly onto the forum.

You will need a Google Photos and Imgur account but it is free. I use all Android and Microsoft stuff.

This post got a little inception, if you have any questions I am happy to help with what I know.
