where is mistake on body tag?
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
Paint combination will never/rarely be wrong as this off this tag is what is on the rolling schedule mainframe printout and broadcast sheet, along with the mech options, model code and BODY number. The Paint code was the line that was most likely to suffer from human error. It also has the metallic identifier of 567 further pointing towards 1898 being correct.

Leroy, those tags don't belong together. AHX19978A is off a 1914-60A van with PSN L369456, you can see the Aquarius paint. The other two are OK together. Chassis number on the van is 10/76 AHX13177A.
No, Leroy has just mixed up the photos I think. Ebay ad shows the right chassis number.
Thanks Byron I added the wrong pic, sorry guys
Blocker can you change the title of the thread
Just a comment on the trim and paint code. I have a genuine LJ GTR-XU1 which I am currently restoring
Trim 1822-40x (Lone Oranger)
Paint 567 - 13127 (Lime Green Metallic)
There must have been a mistake when stamping the trim code should have been 1832 (not 1822)
When I bought the car it was painted white but underneath was orange (no sign at all of ever being green)
I have done bare metal resto and after speaking with the "experts" have decided to paint lime green metallic.
It is an Adelaide built car so plates are punched from the top - must have been a monday car
