    Mid Winter Wander

    This run left from Glendale,Newcastle this morning, to go to the Hunter Valley Gardens.
    It allegedly had about 300+ cars there and was expected to get up to 800 when they arrived at their destination.
    I didn't go on the run but i took some pics there.
    The Blue HJ is also a Sandman.

    i was actually on my way to get gmh884 out to go on this run and what do i find at wyee on my way but a wb 1 tonner for $600 on the side of the road...he put it there only 10 minutes before...
    needless to say i bought the tonner and missed the wander...:lol:

    I just read that thread out to Rodney, who announced he bought a HQ ute for $500 with a 253 and 4spd....he just has to go and collect it....:surprised:

    Great pics Agr071 next time there is a drive like that...I have family up there and would like to see those gardens and wineries, so let us know if we are allowed to join in......:D

    Excellent buy. If it's a 74 model it may even be a Sandman.... otherwise it's a perfect candidade for a replica.

    My van was also there but i forgot to take a pic of it.
    I'm sure there would be no problem with you going Jennie as there were clubs of all types plus independant vehicle owners.

    its on once a year jenni....next year if we remember you should come down and we can get on the juice but we may need drivers for the day.....:lol:

    Sounds like a plan, we can go on the drive, pull up at a vineyard, drink wine, then sleep in our vans until we sobar up.....
