File finishing

Can someone explain file finishing to me, maybe with some pics?:confused:

I've been wanting to do this for a while :yawn:

My door and bonnet have been file finished. Rather than just bog up dents, file finishing is a matter of pulling/knocking the dent back out then, using a body file, filed back down until straight.
Heres the bonnet....no bog



And same with the door....
