Persian Sand XX7 Sandman finally started project

Great to see another Persian Sand Metalic! I'm currently restoring a HJ Holden Sandman Panel Van in that colour. Such a lovely colour!

Thats great, what stage are you at with your van, have you got the colour on yet? Definitely don't see too many Persian Sand HJ vans.

My Sandman is a special case. The owner threw it under covers in his shed early 90's and hadn't touched it till I bought it from him which was 2011. Doesn't have any rust in it and the paint is in good condition still. The running gear has been rebuilt and is being fitted. The engine bay is getting painted. That along with a few more interior touch ups, there really isn't much more I'm doing to it. As they say, wait till you find the purrrfect find. That's what I did. :-)

I bought some parts from a guy who had a persian sand sandman in the 90s that was in good condition apart from a dent in the left side.
