    Morriset swapmeet this morning

Got some really good stuff, I was pleasantly surprised!

Really good, straight HX RH front Sandman Absinth guard with really good stripe and decal. Minor rust in base, great shed wall ornament.

Near perfect HZ Kingswood ute/van or A9K sedan/wagon grille, complete with original screws.

Perfect HJ Statesman grille plastic, missing stainless but I have 2 or 3 busted ones of these with good stainless.

NOS VH Commodore grille in box.

Perfect, corrosion free later HZ or VB 308 inlet manifold.

Pair of NOS V2 CV8 rear mudflaps for my CV8.

HG parts catalogue with original late 1970 HK-T-G supplement for panels pictures.

5 or so HQ-HJ owners manuals.

Used but like new HQ-HJ factory air 253/308 fan shroud. Proper 28 numbered, not 99 numbered like those you can buy today. Has gloss paint on it, might have to soda blast it?

HQ 350 spark plug shields plus all original inlet manifold bolts, washers and lock tabs (all removed to fit extractors).

And the find of the day: 29283 159 Quadrajet carby, this is a late HK GTS327 or very early HT GTS350M carb. These are missing the 70 at the start of the number and don't have the ZC code either like the later ones. Missing a few bits but for $10 I also picked up a 29202 0739 of the exact same 300hp 350 engine from a US Corvette/Camaro auto and it has the original missing bits off the Monaro carb. I've been looking for one of these for a friend of mine, last one I saw go through Ebay I bid $800 for him but it went to well over $1000 and it wasn't complete!

There was lots of other great stuff too, but can't buy it all. There was a complete HZ buckskin auto console there for $90, but i'd run out of money by that stage. I would have liked to buy it for someone here as it was good enough to put straight in.

Those prices sound very good compared to Adelaide where HQ-HZ stuff is so expensive still.

I had a good round at our morning swap meet here, only spent $10 but good enough for me. Goatman should post his Quady pic soon though!
