    Holden Sandman Trim Codes

Here is a simple list of Trim Codes available for the Sandman.

As many of you are aware the Trim Code is not just a single colour to identify a colour, but a Trim Combination code that Holden designed to create a coordinated look for your interior.
What I present to you here is the basic code and colour only, not the table of combinations and names for that colour!

There are generally 3 characters to a Trim Code; 19V, 60A etc. The first two characters refer to the colour type and shade. The first number is the colour and the second is the depth of shade, the higher the number the darker the shade of that colour family.

10-19 Neutral (from white to black)
    20-29 Blue 50-59 Yellow
    30-39 Aqua 60-69 Brown
    40-49 Green 70-79 Red

The third character in the Trim Code combination is the type of material used, either vinyl or cloth, in the case of the Sandman vinyl was only used.

You will see A, C, V and W for the Sandman trim codes, as these were vinyl.

While B, X, Y and Z for other models and series in the Holden range, some include cloth inserts.

It may be possible at a later date to compile a full table of Trim combinations for each model, but for the moment this is a task that I know others are developing.

Thanks to the awesome Mr. Jones and HK1837 in helping compile this simple list for Sandman Trim codes.

Is this covering the HJ-Z series Sandman? Pretty sure the HQ Sandmans were 30B only (30B being black buckets).....could be wrong though!

    Nice work gentlemen

i was under the impression that the C codes came in with the commodores to replace the V codes and have a different, finer grain in the same colour?
