Awsome ute.... even without the rails it would make a lovely example.
Hopefully it gets rebuilt. Excellent find.

The body tag doesn't look right to me, it looks to read 804XX where it should read 80 WN 80 or 80WM80
The trim code is 30E which is a Monaro code for black vinyl, I think the body tag is off a GTS 4 Door Monaro
Just had another look at my cheat sheets, it could also be a V8 Kingswood sedan tag

HQ Glacier White Belmont Ute
Wanted Lanspeed accessories for Holden Grey engines, twin carb manifolds, extractors, rocker cover, 3 speed floor shift.
04 is the model code for a HQ V8 Kingswood OR a HQ V8 Monaro. So 80480 is correct for the model code for a HQ V8 Kingswood ute. 80437 is the code for a HQ Monaro coupe.
E is the Kingswood vinyl trim code for all HQ Kingswood straight vinyl trim except Doeskin/Black, thus 30E is the black vinyl trim code for a 1973-4 HQ Monaro coupe as it a Kingswood coupe in everything but name. 30E is also black vinyl for HQ Kingswood sedan, wagon or ute.
A HQ GTS sedan is also a Kingswood, actually an option pack applied to a Kingswood (just like XX7 is an option pack applied to the Kingswood ute that is the subject of this thread) - either XV4 (GTS sedan) or XW8 (GTS350 sedan). But because it has GTS level vinyl it doesn't use E trim but X so 30X.
The BODY tag is original to the ute and belongs with the others.

Sad when something like that is messed up, you can only dream of these finds only to be run over at the end.
