i just went and checked and there is none in the holes and the holes are to small to have ever had any..

must have been the drugs from the 70s that are making me see things...:shifty:

Not the drugs Greg. This pic of the HJ hoodlining strip was posted a while ago and shows a plastic plug in the holes. It is either possibly a plant specific thing or someone has fitted them when re-installing their headlining....

hmmm interesting. there is no room in the HX sandman I have here for them. the bars only just stick through. I don't think I will worry about them. At the end of the day It doesn't seem that they are needed so no point going through the exercise of getting them made as it will only increase the cost of a kit more. Once the headlining is fitted no one will see them anyway.

I will work out a price for these kits over the weekend. The strip that was getting laser cut out has also increased in cost from the original quote I got. Will see what I can work out.

    Cheers

They look like the ones that are in the firewall? One behind the dizzy and I noticed another one facing the other way between the throttle pedal and the brake pedal.

    Funny thing
The soap tray fell off in my shower and the clear plugs used to hold the screws in look exactly the same as these grommets..
maybe they could make a good substitute

    G'day Jason,
I have to put the rooflining in my van. I have the rear retaining strip - but am after the bows only. If you can help me out what will it cost.

    Cheers,
    Glenn.
