    I'm probably wrong, but isn't there an extra strip that on each side where the rooflining tucks under and the pinchweld is then slid onto?

    As far as im aware that strip is on all vans?

    The side strips are only fitted to vans that had full head linings

    vanmans right...side strip for pinchweld only on vans with full roof lining..i can supply you with a measurement and some pics if needed...

    as for the comments on welding the rear strip on...why???....self tappers would work better and faster.:confused:

    to do the repro strips to look factory you would have to be pretty rough coz they werent a precise lazer cut item from original..

    I will look at the side strips tonight while I still have my sandman here and see if we can include them in the kit. Greg also mentioned to me on the phone about some rubber/plastic grommits. Will see if I can do these also.

    i have seen the grommets also used somewhere on the dash, but can't remember where.. ill have a look later on and let you know...

    I had a look for some grommets. but it seems the sandman I have here did not have them. Talking to greg we are not real sure if they did or didnt. I dont see the point in them as they are not realy needed. the van I have here I would bet my left nut the hoodlining had never been removed and there is no sign of them there.

    My HX doesn't have the grommets either and I'm pretty sure my hood lining has never been removed. Maybe they are only on HJ??
