    New project

I have missed out by the skin of my teeth on a couple of occasions trying to buy a panelvan preferably a sandman. Just bought this one sight unseen ( not a sandman) but will hopefully get there this weekend to have a good look. But for the price im already happy. Just love the Q's and in Barbados Green. Was a 6 cylinder originally. Will get more info off the plates on sunday

I live in Darwin but im working in mackay QLD on a project for a couple of years. My parent's live about 3 hours south of here so the car will be going there first then who knows. Can you tell by the shape whether they are original or not?

Side panel windows in a HQ are aftermarket or dealer fitted. So none are "factory original".
Your best bet is to make cardboard templates and get some perspex bubble windows made.

If it comes with the glass you have fit them clear, tint them or hang curtains. Whatever you please.

yeah he owned the wreckers for 25 years and he kept the best pieces for himself. he also said he might have a few bits and pieces to go with it for a price. can't wait to have a look around on the weekend, if i get sunday off

    .
This has been proven not to be totally true..... Yes some windows are aftermarket and some were dealer fitted however there was a photo on this site of vans bodies being shipped on trains between assembly plants and some of the vans had windows cut in.... Factory fitted.."..

Now if someone can just find that photo
