    That first picture is the mount that is unique to the HQ sandman.

    HQ Sandman vans were Belmonts with basically everything out of the GTS/4 bin added. As such the badges like V8 and Belmont were on the tailgate and front guards.

    No, as Alien DNA pointed out they are Speedy Californians.

    These are Speedy's Australian copy of the USA made Cragar SS wheel.

    Found a nasco block for the old girl but is missing all the main caps. Any one got any laying aroung they want to get rid of?
    I will be starting a new thread in the next month or so for the sandman ute I picked up as this will be my main focus before the panel van.

    What makes you call it a NASCO block? The engine number or something else?

    Yer the engine prefix is nt for new replacement engines instead of qt
