Thoughts on the VF??

At a glance it looks like a Toyota Aurion on steriods from the front and an E90 Beemer at the rear!

Low budget? Ive heard this is it for the commy after this one

What does the wider mysandman community think?

It's OK, but gee you get sick of cars all looking the bloody same.
Good luck picking the difference in the V8 Supercars. Was had enough when it was only Ford and Holden (sort of) cars.

I quite like it myself very slick indeed if you get a chance check out the vf hsv now that car is pure horn
and i dont think its the end for commodore from what i have read they will bring out a 4cyl front wheel drive holden in 2017 if they call it a commodore well that remains to be seen

I'll wait untill the VF HSV GTS hits the show room floor, and if I trade in my E2, obviously it gets my tick.

I dont mind the Calais...looks like it has some class about it. Great looking interior.

Generally people havent been to happy with they way it looks, but i remember people didnt really like the VE when it came out either!

looks ok, but have to judge it up close when i see one.

Interior looks really good, don't mind that at all.

that's true. many still dont like the VE but dont have an option. maybe has something to do with the sheer volume of VE SS utes for sale. apparently tradies took them back to the yard in favor of the VZ which are far easier to see out of..

mazda 6 styled tail lights that run the length of the boot? hmmm

Glad I'm not the only one who thought "urgh, Mazda 6 rear end"... The rest of it looks tidy enough though.

You are right, it looks like a Mazda 6, but that has to be better than the godawful VE sedan rear end! Only thing uglier is the HSV treatment for the tail-lights! I saw a yellow R8 on the F3 on tuesday, and I though what a great looking car, then saw the tail-lights and thought: I wonder who's 3 year old threw up on their design drawings!

Myself, much prefer the godawful HSV tail lights that are very distinctive to HSV over a copy of a Mazda tail lights. Just sets the rear end off nicely. This is my second GTS and so far all in all a very tidy package, tail lights included.
