They look to me like they (HSV) did a great job on the whole VE but stuffed up the tail-lights.

I will wait until I can see it in the showroom's, then I can have a good look over it. New model's are alway's criticised, except for the VT. It was criticised by the police though.

There you go, I think they stand out in a positive way. Just another opinion.

I'm probably being a bit harsh, what I described as Godawful was the whole VE Commodore sedan arse end, at least HSV tried to fix it in some way on their versions of the sedan. I would have thought they could have done a better job on the tail-lights though, given how good the rest of the car came up. Not much to work with I suppose as the VE backend is not that pretty at all.

The VT has gotta be the worst commodore ever!

Byron, are you serious? The HSV is the ugliest thing on 4 wheels, Bling and Bad Taste!!!!!
I actually like the VE, having one might make me biased though, mine is a plain jane Lumina in Evoke with the factory 17inch alloys.
I think the VF looks more like a Camry from the rear than a Mazda 6, but even the Germans have gone for the same rear end look ion BMWs etc, having said that, I would have one in my driveway in a heartbeat.

I thought the yellow R8 looked pretty good, compared to some of the earlier HSV product that was way over the top.

It's different, very subtle rear wing treatment similar to the senator.

whats the deal with the blackouts on the bumpers? reminds me of the old vk and vn executive when they didnt paint the bumpers, looks pox i reckon, still prefer the ve rear to this, looks like a big mismatch from the parts bin. but hopefully people will buy it, i would hate to see the 4cyl front wheel drive platform their thinking about.
