    Wire to nowhere

I spotted this while trying to clean some of the engine bay of the ute today:

It joins up with the main loom behind the brake booster, and there are no wires that run remotely near it on this side of the engine bay. The plug looks like a factory one, but I could be wrong. Anyone know what it is?
    Cheers, Evan.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it may be for an option like the kickdown on an auto transmission ro something like that. Possibly for underbonnet light accessory also. I have seen it connected but can't remember on what. I'm pretty certain it isn't for either of those I mentioned but it escapes me what it was for. Rear wheel lock control maybe? What colour wires are in the plug?

I never knew an under bonnet light was an option on HQ-WBs, let alone any car, but now thinking of it, why doesn't anyone do that these days? Byron, both wires leading into the plug are blue.

Correction: One wire is green, one blue. Also, I found the other end, same kind of plug and again, not connected to anything.
