Chassis number always matches the ADR plate. They would never have left an assembly plant not matching.
Working on the chassis number but the engine number has being ground off. How do you explain that to vic roads

It will require a Police Number. The police will have to inspect and find the real number and give it the all clear and then re-issue a new police coded number.
There has to be a reason the old number is ground off and just because you can't read it doesn't mean the police can't.
The last detail chassis number BHZ64136A does everything match? And how do you tell?

At least the car is not stolen just run the chassis number through vic roads or pprs as it is now known

So no, the chassis number does not match the number on the plates. Unless its really cheap (ie the price of a normal non sandman van in the same condition then I would steer clear.
It is $6000 barn find find condition 253 eng replaced with 308 which has the numbers ground off not matching ahhh
