79 HZ XX7 308 Windowless Van . Driving with a big grin. A few little finishing touches required
There is a mistake in the HJ section. Is a sandman section refers to console shift. Lots of HJ's had console shift that were not Sandmans.
Not commercials. The only console shift HJ commercials were Sandmans.
The glaring HJ errors are:
Where it mentions HJ8WN70 as not a Sandman.
Mentions of model codes 8WM80 and 8WN80 are not totally right as these are only for Elizabeth, Dandenong and Acacia Ridge. Pagewood uses different model codes.
Floor shift under might be. No Sandmans were floor shift, all were console shift. This isn't really wrong as such, probably needs better wording though to stop misinterpretation.

You're right, should read console shift auto. That was my fault as I proof read the HJ section from the original stuff we had.
Dave.
Nunc est bibendum...
Yeah confusing. Should say console mounts but seeing as they are able to be added later perhaps it should be deleted altogether.
Gday. Im still trying to confirm what i own. But can anyone tell me what a 74 HQ Kingswood 6cyl original 4spd sandman interior and steering wheel. Licenced but needs alittle love. Would be worth ???
Please
G
Anywhere from $300 to $6000 depending on condition, how original it is, what part it has or hasn't got and whether or not it is actually a Sandman.
Being a 6cyl devalues it a bit.
Hi Millsy,
That is not a concern. Best bet these days is to apply for a certificate from Holden Historic Services, who will be able to tell you for sure.
You could post photos of tags and of the vehicle here but the answer still might not be 100%
