I'll revise mine to B on a HJ and C on a HX. From memory that colour (whether it be 1900 or 1925) looks OK with HJ stripes (meant to be white stripes but black looks better) but looks pretty ordinary with HX stripes. I don't think it really matter what colour it was, if you are doing a resto just paint it whatever colour you like. It is still a Sandman.
