Nunc est bibendum...
I had my HZ Overlander airborne at Stockton beach. Came over a dune and hit air. It was actually amazing how many people almost fell over when they saw it on the sand. Not very often you hear, then see a really loud V8 (damn injected 304's with carby on them are loud as hell with a single 2.5" system) Holden 1-tonner on Stockton beach! People just stopped and stared. Used to happen a lot elsewhere else too. People would never have seen one given there was only about 4 or 5 made.
Mate, try Towradgi hump at 130klms. You can launch a FB/EK Holden Sedan or Wagon to the moon.
Those from the 'gong know what I mean (or did!).

47 degrees at my workbench inside the workshop on friday, 50 outside in the sun, pleanty hot enough for me
family friends of ours sold there farm and moved to the coast, he lives at the town on the end of stockton beach, hes got a mini moke with 4 wheeler tyres and rims and he can go anywhere, he can get up the dunes the proper 4wds built for sand cant, he was building a 4wd moke but i dont think he ever finished it
Now a 4wd Moke I would have to have!! I've heard talk of ppl putting Moke bodies on Susuki Sierra chassis but have not seen one personally!
No mokes have no chassis just a steel body with a bolt on front drive line!!
