HQ Ute Suggestions for colour please

I have a 1972 Belmont ute, I am looking for ideas as to what colour to paint it.The interior will GTS/SS inspired black buckets with houndstooth inserts, GTS dash and console.
Currently the car is still in its original Glacier White paint, the car has had a canopy on it for most of its life and has two spots of rust in the entire body, both being smaller than a 5c piece in size. It was a 202/3spd but is currently running a 253/4spd which will end up in my HX Sandman. This ute will have a 350 Chev with a TH400, I am not sure yet whether to go GTS flutes etc or keep the body stock.

I would like ideas for the paint colour, stripes(SS?, GTS?, Sandman?, none?), wheels etc.

I would put the gts guards on it..... No stripes.... And paint it a colour you dont see everyday.... March 17th or blackwatch green or Etruscan gold..... All look great on hq monaros.... As for wheels any thing but rally11 wheels.... Very underwhelming

I would go purple with a big space mural on the bonnet!

Most of the 1974 HQ colours: Orchid, Saffron, Sunburst, Azure look good. GTS guards and no stripes for me too. Leave the rest as is.

Im quite a fan of cyan blue on utes dont see this colour much any more

I would go polished B45 Simmons wheels and tuxedo black.

Hmmmm, GTS flutes, wild orchid with the black outs would be drop dead gorgeous. Leave the wheels and get the tyres red-walled. Most of those original colours will go with the trim you've suggested but hey, forget what others and I think you're the one who has to love it the most!

You're the closest to my own thoughts so far, how about full white-walls on 15x7 Pontiac Rallye II rims?

Also Azure Blue but I have yet to find a nice HQ ute painted in it.
