You could whack a VH lion boot lock surround on to cover the mess. I remember seeing little rectangle stick on ones as well with all the different logos for different vehicles.

    202 column shift or T-bar?

Will the paint buff up OK? If yes, you might just have to tidy the boot lock hole area up best you can using a dolly and hammer, and paint a small area of matt black around the lock. You won't really notice it with the badge and mould either side of it.

Here are the side moulds: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/holden-pr...item27ceb8cb5c

Clips to hold them on look to be 7434212. Might have to find secondhand ones. HZ Kingswood SL, Premier
Are these the clips you speak of?

I don't think so, I think those go on the front of the rear door mould where it gets skinny to clear the front door when open. Hence why only two per car.

Now here is a tricky problem....
Ambientgoat and I got the prem up and running last night after discovering that the hose from the pickup to the hard line had perished. This was replaced and then the engine could get fule and be started. The car has been sitting 24 hours and now it won't start? We did change the file pump to one without the glass float. I'm sure that the Origenal one was fine but just couldn't suck the fuel through because of the crusty hose.

A lot of the vaccum hoses are very crusty in the engine bay would this make a difference?

    Cheers,
    Mook

    New pump

Plus goat primed the lines 'manually'
