Hey forum fanatics,

I'm in the mood for a bit of work for myself so I'm asking you all for suggestions on what can be done around the mysandman.com.au websites that will make your stay more enjoyable, and attract new people.

Things I have to do;
Update Quick reference guide so people can print out.
Change the main website logo to match the forums logo.

I'd like to promote the Blog section more - make it a section for people to get in and watch others restoration progress etc.

Any other suggestions are welcome. ;)

Personally I don't particularly like the blogs section for that exact reason, I would much rather a projects forum as it is easier to see, find, navigate to... I actually thought that was what the showroom section was for:confused:

But that's just me..... up to the boss...

You make a very good point. The blog is a sort of duplication of the Showroom section on the forums.

The good thing about the blog is that your blog is yours, and although people can comment on your posts - you get to manage everything on your blog, bit like your own personal webpage.

I'll post up a little 'how to' for those that are keen, and see if it takes off. otherwise it's easy to move those blog posts into a normal forum thread.

i find the blogs hard to navigate so i dont bother goin there...also the reason i havent moved my van build there...which reminds me i must update it..mind you that takes time and time is best spent on the van when im at work..not the puter.

Don't know what "BLOG" is.
If you look at my signature, you'll see links to my van pics.
This way it'll save the boss some forum space.

Maybe if you can change the format of the blog section? I like it and wish people would use it for posting their restorations etc.
Maybe if each blog was under a heading so you could see all the blogs easily? Then you could pick the one you want to look at easily.

I also like the blog, but find it a bit tricky to navigate.. for example in one of my previous posts i have a picture, but all i could muster was a link for the next one..
