Roof Racks?

Folks,

Any pointers on where I should be looking for a set of racks I can put on the van that wont cost a fortune?

I'm actually going to put a roof lining in and maybe even go crazy and put some carpet in there. If I do that the kayak, surfboards etc. might have to find a new home on the roof.
The set of racks I have sadly are too short to clear the roof.

I would try Supercheap....Repco, those sort of places and do a price check. They could probably order them for you if they have none in stock.

Goat the old type roof rack fitted fine in th 80,s even on a sandman .they did mark the gutters slightly if you took then on and off a lot but weren't to bad if you fitted them with the rubber gutter protectors and left them on


In 1981 though to 1987 this set up was my was my pride and joy with the roo bar that I would put on whenever I travelled west
We still own the boat today and are going skiing tomorrow for a few days

Try Rhino racks they have racks to suit all cars, they will also custom make them to fit your van !!

You could try Load Rail roof racks. They make the heavy duty Unistrut style racks that you see on building trade vans. Another supplier is Dakar in South Australia.
