HX Van. What have I bought?

Just got this 253 4 speed van off a bloke who had it for 30 years or so. Going over it has cautiously made me wonder if it's a sandy.

After looking through the site, I can confirm it has the hoodlining teeth, GTS dash + wheel, paint blackouts, armrests, courtesy light switches, 2 seat capacity on the ADR tag, and the lion badge on the grill (although the grill isn't black). Tyre placard no. is 9942992.

I'm about 99% sure it is an XX7 Sandman. Full length headlining on Holden van is almost non-existant outside of Sandman, and given the reduced GVW, 2 seat capacity, 2 seats, the dash, the console shift and the interior light switches you'd be pretty unlucky for it to be an XU4 and B30 optioned HX Holden van with all the other options!

Nice colour combo too.

It looks regoed too, so if you want to bring it around i'll check it out for you. Or if you are local to Cardiff area I can check it out.

Cheers mate, sort of looked after pretty much sums it up. Apparently it's the original engine in it too, so that doesn't hurt.

It came with a heap of misc. parts including another complete GTS dash. Gauges and facia still together. It's the van that just keeps on giving
