We are looking for another car and asking advice. 4 door sedan, boot space. No AWD/SUV, no Hybrid!
We have a VW Tiguan as a company car - gutless plastic and looking at something a little closer to the ground.
She is fixated on a BMW for the same reason a cat chases laser dots around the lounge room... it's funny but for no reason
Camry or the cruise has a five star safety rating
SV6 commodores are good value if you want something that big ,apart from the company car what does she drive now ?

We have a 2011 Holden Cruze diesel.....great little car and awesome fuel consumption....I did melb to Albury with 1/3rd of a tank. Good lady wife loves itBig boot and rear seats fold down too

Beside the company car, nothing. She has been fortunate enough to have a car provided for 7 years - we have had 2 x BA Falcons and this VW. My car is a BA and we are running it into the ground so to speak.
Her other car is a genuine 1970 GT Capri, but she/we need a second car for work and family stuff.
Cruze looks good, but I have to steer her away from these damn BMW 320I's that are everywhere at the moment!
the bmw 320I are a very good car drive better than anything else on the road imho
BMWs drive great but if something goes wrong it will cost you heaps to fix ,what about Subaru liberty or if the boys want a V8 and your happy with your falcons get an XR8
