    HQ alternator

    Hi, can anyone tell what the correct bosch alternator looks like for a V8 HQ ,i have 2 types one has the black plastic on the back of it and the other one is all alloy .My HQ is a 1972 model and has an external regulator. thankyou

    From memory HQ had either Bosch with the ext regulator or Lucas with internal reg. The black plastic on the back is probably HK-HG.
