    That would be right...
Does anyone know where one could also buy a set of trouble light lenses as well as the globe holder? Doesn't matter what for at this stage.

They're friggin hard to find Mook, most GTS fascias are missing the globe holders as they are knocked off easily and then the lenses fall out. I have tried to get Rare Spares to supply he globe holders as a separate part but got told it was not possible??? The globe holders and lenses are unique to the GTS fascia. Try Classic Oz wreck, Greg may have some globe holders from busted fascias.

Good luck with finding a globe holder. If you do and end up with a spare can you let me know as I am after one for one of my spare fascia plates. Cheers!

Are these the same as what you're looking for? I found this complete (statesman?) woodgrain dash at a swap meet for $20 complete. Was one day going to pop it in my old man's one tonner if we ever get around to resurrecting it.

It is missing one of the top warning light lenses but it has the high beam one still in situ which looks very similar to the one in my ute. I've never had to remove the lenses out of my dsh so not intimately familiar with the globe holders and the shape of the warning lenses.

Well I had a very unexpected thing happen after my post...
On Thursday I had a message from one of the kind people at rare spares, I made a phone call and had a great chat with one of the team. Rare spares actually make the lenses, my local supplier didn't think that they were available, but they were. Yay! What makes this even better is that the kind person whom I spoke to offered me a globe holder from personal stash for free! Wow holy crap, wow.

The best customer service I have ever received. Ever! Cheers Rare Spares!
Btw my local store is fantastic, if you get the chance talk to Ian at Richmond, Adelaide you won't be wasting your time.

Good question. When I unpack a bit more (have just moved house this last weekend) I'll either get you the part number or see if I can look it up in my parts manual. Gimme a couple of days but have a feeling it was HJ Statesman (trying to remember) due to what numeral design it was.

    Back to you ASAP.

I fitted the HX speedo and swapped the wiring loom over with out any hassles
The clock didnt want to work but after some advice from wbute I got it going...
any one else may want to try this first as well ..
I pulled the adjusting knob out and let it flick back in place and away it went..
every thing in the wiring loom was the same except for the brake warning and the handbrake lights

A quick question on your fuel gauge cluster. When I took mine apart the other night it had a "mysterious black box" hanging off it. Maybe some sort of damper to stop the needle jumping around?
    Did your gauge have one?

    We'll get there shortly.
